Comments: A very traditional Christmas song, sometimes done with antiphonal choirs stationed at four different locations around the congregation.
This barely qualifies as an "arrangement", more of a suggestion on how to emphasize a 9/8 feel. This chord-chart-and-riffs doesn't communicate all the extra rhythm that the guitar and percussion and keyboard might bring to this song.
Faith's praise band "One Accord" often uses the "trick" of doing familiar songs in a triple time to give them a new feel. There are also a lot of hymns in 3/4 time that can be, with varying degrees of success, taken in 4/4.
