Anybody who hears me play guitar knows what a huge debt I owe to James Taylor's distinctive
fingerpicking. That style unexpectedly emerged to make for this peaceful, walking tempo arrangement
(and the piano only reinforces that early-James-Taylor-Carole-King sound, echoes of my battered
LPs of "Mud Slide Slim".) The live recording stumbles around
a while before finding it's feet.
