Comments: The first time I met with what was to be our current (2021) senior pastor at Faith, he asked me if the praise band would be ready to drop in behind him if during the words of invocation, he broke out into singing. I said "Absolutely." He's worked with me to bring great changes to how we do contemporary worship but we haven't yet done the sung-invocation thing, so I knew I had to write something. I made him promise that when he does a special series on the sacrament of the Lord's Supper, that he'll start using this. Stay tuned.
