Comments: Lifting up hands during worship doesn't automatically equal passion and unselfconscious worship. But it's not very common in our particular congregation. This song speaks to that, I hope.
I'll comment that the demo was recorded live (solo) in the basement while I tried frantically to sing, play guitar, and hit buttons on the drum machine all at the same time, with predictable results. But I love the huge guitar tone, so I kept it. In worship the piano part does not play on the first verse: this is really a guitar song.
Digging through board recordings, found this live version ... the mix may have problems but the band was burning the place DOWN!!!
